what to expect Sunday morning

We would love to meet you and your family. Please join us this Sunday at First Baptist!

Sunday Worship Service ~ 10:00am

The service has a mixture of the contemporary songs and traditional hymns. Our pastor will give a message relating to real-life topics happening in our lives everyday. Lyrics, announcements, and sermon notes are projected on a screen in the front of the sanctuary, making it easy for you to follow along with the service and sing. Hearing-assisted devices are available to those who need them, just stop by the sound booth, and our friendly sound technician will assist you. We share in Communion on the first Sunday of each month, and we use the prepackaged, sealed cups.

What To Wear

You will see people fully dressed up with suits and dresses but also see people wearing jeans and t-shirts. All we ask is that you avoid wearing anything with obscene or profane words or images as we are a family church. We want you comfortable and we want you to know that God looks at the heart, not the outfit.

For the Youth

Our middle school and high school youth worship along with their families during the service and then during Sunday School they have their own space and group. This group is led by our Associate Pastor, Pastor Bryan.

Enjoy Our Connection cafe

Spend some time sitting in our Coffee Connection Cafe and enjoy some free coffee, tea, or even hot coca. It’s a perfect place to connect with and meet new friends. You could also look over the various ministries and events that are happening at First Baptist Church during this time of fellowship.

For the kids

We offer full nursery care for children from infant to 3 years old, which is provided from the beginning of worship service, all the way through our Sunday School time. The nursery, like all of our ministries is staffed by our loving volunteers.

FBC Kidz is our children’s worship service for ages 3 through 5th grade. We have separate classes for 3 through kindergarten meeting in a smaller classroom, while "big kids" 1st grade through 5th meet in our "big room" (the fellowship hall). During FBC Kidz, they are provided a fun video-based lesson, hands-on activities such as crafts, games and even snacks. These activities are meant to help develop their social, physical, and spiritual growth among other children. Each week children have the opportunity to earn points for prizes. They can earn points for bringing a Bible (if they need one we give them one), memorizing a Bible verse, bringing any offering (usually some change), bringing a friend, and of course just for being there.
